Ready to take your watercolor skills to the next level? If you've completed our Beginning Watercolor Class—or already feel comfortable with basic watercolor techniques—this class is the perfect next step in your creative journey.
In this hands-on workshop, we'll focus on one of watercolor's most important skills: layering. You'll learn how to build color gradually, create realistic shading, paint convincing shadows, and add depth and dimension to your artwork using transparent washes. Using vibrant fruit as our subject matter, you'll discover how thoughtful layers of color and value can transform a flat painting into something rich, luminous, and full of life.

Every artist moves at their own pace — creativity doesn’t punch a time clock. Class times are approximate, so no pressure either way!
☕️ Non-alcoholic beverages will be available. But feel free to bring any beverage of your choice. Yes, even the adult variety. We don’t judge. ;)
🚙 There is free street parking in front of the studio, and a free parking lot behind the row of buildings.
